PGI Peloponnese,

Aghiorghitiko 80%, Cabernet Sauvignon 20%

Nemea is located in the North East corner of the Peloponnese. It is home to Greece's top and most complex grape variety Agiorgitiko. The region starts in Ancient Nemea at 200m and reaches 850m above sea level.

Tasting Note

The color is very deep and intense purple. Οn the nose it is dense, concentrated and complicated but elegant. Aromas of ripe fruit such as blackberries and black raspberries coupled with spicy characteristics, smoke and a touch of leather that fill the nose. On the mouth it is silky but powerful framed by delicate tannins and gentle acidity offering flavours of ripe fruits, cloves, black pepper and just a touch of herbs. The aftertaste has extended length and a great complexity.
When you are this big they call you MEGAS.
