Nemea is located in the North East corner of the Peloponnese. It is home to Greece's top and most complex grape variety Agiorgitiko. The region starts in Ancient Nemea at 200m and reaches 850m above sea level.
The color is yellow-green with a few greenish hues. The nose is expressive with strength and aromas of ripe apricot, mango and orange rind whereas the scents of oak such as hazelnut and baked bread are quite apparent. Fruit forward richness fills the mouth with flavours of vanilla, rich cream, coconut, and hazelnut butter. The finish has duration and great complexity.
Pair Chardonnays with roasted chicken or seafood; you may also pair it well with pasta dishes made with cream or cheese, with lobster or other rich seafood and with Asian dishes that include coconut milk.
