The island of Santorini has everything necessary to produce spectacular white wines. The marriage of the sea air and the thermal variations provided by the island’s position as well as the expertise of Argyros are the final flourishes on a true masterpiece. A magnificent palate featuring a dynamic attack with aromas of apple, candied lemon zest and honey are wrapped with a round body, softened by the perfect amount of barrel-maturation and topped off with delicate hints of hazelnut and toasted sesame. The mineral finish is complemented by an exquisite salinity, confirming its excellence and leaving a smile on the lips.
Bright yellow in color, aromas of mature citrus & lemon in the beginning and then a full expression of the soil with the black stone of Santorini. Very concentrated in the palate, dry, with distinctive salinity, full body(large and long) with a generous finish.
Avoid serving very cold. Ideal serving between 12 to 14o C.
Needs decanting in order to unfold its full character. Enjoy with fatty fish, “fruit de mer”,
lobster and even dishes with meat.
